    当我来到澳大利亚的时候，我就立马脱掉了我的外套，因为澳大利亚的温度真的跟中国有很大的不同。现在的澳大利亚非常热，最热的时候可以达到36度左右。中国正在穿大衣棉袄的时候，这里正穿着短袖和短裤。
    I took off my jacket as quickly as possible when I arrived Australia, because the weather is quite different from that of China. Australia is very hot now, it can even reach 36 degree centigrade. Australians wear shirts and T-shirts while Chinese wear coats.
    在中国，天刚蒙蒙亮的时候，我们就已经起床准备去学校早读了，一直要学习到下午5点左右，高中的学生学习更为艰苦。但是在澳大利亚，我们可以睡到早上7点钟，这还是因为我们要去赶校车的原因。8点半左右是晨会课，然后我们就会开始正式上课。这边一节课的时间很长，有点像上大课。国内都是40分钟一节课，这边就是一个多小时一节课，比如英语课会靠近两个小时。很多家长，特别是学生会问了，上这么长时间的课不会觉得枯燥无聊吗？不会想睡觉吗？我可以很负责任告诉你，不会。因为这边上课跟国内有很大的不同。国内的课程更加偏向于对照着书来讲课，会做很多的练习题，当然这是我经历的，并不代表所有老师。但是，澳大利亚的英语课就很有意思，老师讲课非常生动，甚至可以说是在以跟我们聊天的方式讲课，会跟你开玩笑，在课上你可以畅所欲言，不用担心会说错或者说得不对，因为在这里，老师会鼓励你把你想的事情说出来。老师希望的是宁可说错，也不希望你什么都不说，所以老师会顾及每个人，会让每个人都有发言的机会，让每个人都有展示的机会。
    In China, we get up very early in the morning and then spend whole day on study until 5pm. High school students work even harder. But in Australia, we can wake up at 7 am in the morning, that’s because we need to catch the school bus. If not, we can wake up later. We have our first class at 8.30am in the morning. In here, a class is quite long. In China, one class is about 40 minutes, but in Australia, it’s about one and a half hours. The English class is almost 2 hours long. Then lots of people may ask: Did you guys not feel bored with a 2-hours class? Did you want to sleep in class? I can tell you responsibly. NO! Because it’s actually different from study in China. In China, students do a lot of worksheets. Of course this is my own opinion. Australian class is very interesting. The teacher teaches through conversations, like a friend of us. The teacher always make some jokes. You can say anything you want during the class, you don’t need to worry about whether your answer is correct or not. The teacher will correct your pronunciations. And the teacher will give everyone the chance to speak. Let everyone enjoy the class.
    学校内当然不只有主课，也有很多课外课程，来丰富你的校园生活，让你更好学习的同时，得到放松，也让你学会更多的技能。而且校园内的设施都很齐全，你可以在这里学习到任何你想学的东西。你在这里不需要觉得英文不好就不去说，或者害羞，怕别人嘲笑你。他们会很有耐心地去指导你，说错了也没有关系，他们并不会在意，只要你问，他们就会帮助你，这就是澳大利亚人。
    There are different sorts of research activities in the school, to make your school life more interesting. Those activities help you to relax yourselves and to learn more knowledge. There are various facilties around the school. You can learn everything you are curious about. You don’t need to be shy or feel embarrassed at any time. Nobody laughs at you. Teachers provide patient guidance promptly when you have problems.
