美国合作高中校长Keane博士的一封信

 

Dear Dr. Xie,

I thoroughly enjoyed my recent visit to the Wuxi Foreign Language School and I am thrilled that Mr. John Mazza and Mr. Senlin Zhang of Campus Bridge International helped make it happen. On behalf of the Campus Bridge Member School Consortium I have been privileged to visit many schools in the United States and throughout Asia. I have also headed various accrediting teams on behalf of the New England Association of Secondary Schools and the Christian Brothers Institute of North America.

Please know that I was enormously impressed by what I observed at the WXFLS.

Your supportive parents, welcoming teachers, and highly-trained administrators have a great deal to be thankful for. Everywhere I turned I saw students engaged in learning and teachers skillfully using a wide-range of teaching methodologies. It is no wonder that the students who graduate from the Campus Bridge Ivy Class matriculate to first-rate high schools in the United States with solid English writing and conversational skills and with strong preparation in math and the sciences.

The new WXFLS campus is absolutely beautiful! I was there one year ago while it was still under construction. I applaud its design and the care that you yourself have this facility. You have attended to each and every detail. You are creating an academic culture of excellence with state-of-the art resources.

The special partnership that Campus Bridge has helped cultivate between the WXFLS and my own school, Catholic Memorial School in Boston, has helped us forge new ground in the area of global education. Both of our schools are realizing the educational benefits of sharing resources and expertise and I look forward to increasing and enhancing those efforts in the future.

Catholic Memorial School prepared my own brother, Tom, and Mr. Mazza of Campus Bridge to go to Harvard. It prepared me to go on to Yale University. I am convinced that such opportunities await the best and brightest students from the WXFLS who benefit from the Ivy Class and matriculate to Campus Bridge Schools in the United States.

贵校学生家长的支持、学校教师的热情欢迎、管理人员的素养都让我心怀感激。处处可见学生在专心致志的学习，老师熟练地运用各种不同的教学方法在上课。难怪毕业于常春藤国际班的学生进入美国一流高中以后能展现那么扎实的英语写作技能和会话能力以及数学和理科上良好的功底。

无锡外国语学校新校区非常漂亮！一年前我来到学校的时候还在施工。我很欣赏学校的建筑设计以及您在建设中付出的心思。您参与了学校设计建造中的各个细节。您正在用最先进的教育资源为学生们创建一个优秀的学术文化氛围。

校园桥帮助无锡外国语学校和我校（波士顿天主教纪念学校）建立了特殊的伙伴关系，帮助我们打造了一个全球教育领域的新天地。我们两所学校都认识到了资源和经验共享的优势所在, 我期待在未来能够增加和提高在这些方面的合作。
